Professor José Flores Sosa is a defender of human rights in the digital age, an activist focused on issues of digital surveillance, privacy, freedom of expression, digital security, and the promotion of open culture. He holds a Master’s degree in Communication and Digital Media from the University of the Americas Puebla (UDLAP) and holds a degree from the Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia (UNED).
José Flores shares his knowledge and experience as a professor. He teaches Digital Civics at the Academy of Digital Politics and at the Anáhuac University in Puebla, where he inspires and educates young minds on essential subjects related to the digital world and human rights.
Currently, he presides over Wikimedia Mexico and serves as the Communications Director at Red en Defensa de los Derechos Digitales (R3D), where he plays a crucial role in the planning and execution of comprehensive communication strategies.
